We will be holding a raffle at the Fishing Festival so we have been asking for donations from various sources so far the reation from the companies approached has been really positive.

I have been asked several times if we will be selling tickets to the raffle on line, so we will.

Under Paypal rules you are not allowed to pay for games of chance by paypal so everyone will need to pay by cheque (prefered) or cash.

The tickets will be £1 each, if you would like to purchase tickets please send cheques (Made payable to Reels On Wheels (UK) Ltd) to me.

Just so everyone is informed and to keep the proceedings completely transparent we have decided to post how the raffle will work, so that is fair for both participants and those who buy tickets by post.

We will have two pots, one will have all the prizes in it on seperate pieces of paper, the other will have all the raffle tickets in it. The prize description will be drawn along with the winner.

Doing it this way everyone has an equal chance of winning a top prize.

Please check the list at the top of this thread as we are already getting some great prizes, the list will be updated as we get more prizes donated/pledged.

We have all been overwhelmed by the support shown to Reels On Wheels through the whole of the angling community, the response to our request for raffle prizes has been absolutely amazing.

We would like to thank publicly our members who have donated prizes directly, Gary (Tidalwave) for donating the reel, John (tinca) for the DVDs, Steve (Bluey) for the Landing net handle and also Steve (allthegearnoidea) who has donated a wonderful box of flies, some floats and a few other bits.

Well the letters asking for raffle prizes seem to have done their job we have received hundreds of prizes from both individuals and the fishing industry. In fact we have received so much support that if we were to put all the prizes into this one raffle every ticket sold so far would win at least 3 yes 3 prizes.

So come on all you Reels On Wheels supporters dig deep and buy yourself a ticket, 5 tickets, 100 tickets whatever you feel that you can spare and you will be in with an amazing chance to win some great prizes. My son thinks that the prizes are so good that he has spent £5 of his birthday money on buying 5 tickets so he can win a prize.

All the details of how to buy your tickets are at the top of this thread we can accept cheques or postal orders so please help us to help improve accessibility around the country.
