I've had a chat with my colleagues and we can offer you a professional website
package worth £500 including a year's free hosting and domain name fees.

We are a very small family run business (my wife and I and a couple of
good friends), otherwise we would offer you more than this, but hopefully, it will
be of some benefit to you.

We'll have to tailor the package to suit the prize winner's business type and their
technical abilities, but I promise we will provide £500 worth of website.

The prize winner can expect something similar in specification and quality to the

All of the above have features to the value of around £500 but as you can see there is great variation in the sites themselves. If the prize winner has some technical or office experience, we can offer them our Content Management System, which will allow them to add and modify their own website content and webpages (up to at least 25 pages). In this case, 'we' will enter the content for the first few pages to get them started (Home page and Contact details etc.) and then give them the keys to their website to take over from there and add more.

If the prize winner is less experienced, we will provide them a website of up to 6 pages, but they will have to provide us with their content (text and images) so that we can enter it for them, before launching their website. In this case we will also add some additional features to make up the value of £500 (a 'Flash' slideshow for example).

In both cases, we will provide an intensive initial promotion of the website to get the winner started, and we will get them listed in Google, Yahoo and MSN.

The above is a professional website package, so to be of benefit, the eventual prize winner needs to own a small business (almost anything, for example; plumber, electrician, artist, author, wedding cake decorator, funeral director! etc.) or be a professional service provider (such as an accountant, solicitor, financial advisor, health provider, vet etc.) or a small club or community/support group. This would be our only condition, since the website would be of no use to an individual that does not have a business or profession or a group that was providing some sort of community service (fishing club, disability support group etc.).

This is a huge prize for anyone with a small business or a club that would like a website to advertise or promote themselves.

So please be generous and bid well. We will close the bidding at the end of the 5th of september.
