Morning Wheelers !!

Junior Match Update !!

A big thankyou to Nick for the donation of a LARGE amount of tackle !! that has gone towards our prizes for the children.
We have had two matches up to now and a great turn out on both matches !! The first match was won with 18lb 10oz a mixed bag of chub , bream , f1s, roach ,and perch and a great day was had by all the kids.
Our second match yesterday was won with a 10lb mixed bag again.
Twenty five children fished yesterday in two age groups , under 16s and under 12s and the top three weights in each age groups all got some great prizes !!
We have three matches left and the children want us to do MORE matches already, so at the end of the summer holidays we are doing a DADS / MUMS / and sons / daughters match and we have lots of intrest already in that match GOOD STUFF AH ???
My youngest daughter Charlotte age 7yrs fished yesterday and came 3rd in her age group !!!! with chub and f1s ,it was a very hot day and all the children did well to sit it out for the four hr match.
I will keep you informed on the 3 remaining matches.

We had our third match yesterday and 23 kids fished the match !!
A young lady called Paige won the match with a mixed bag of chub , f1s ,bream and roach , good stuff ah ?? 10 lbs 12oz !!
the water fished hard again but all had a great day and won some FANTASTIC prizes !!

Good morning wheelers !!!

Tomorrow is our last match !! out of a series of five, its been alot of hard work , but worth the effort, we have had a average of 23 kids fishing the matches and we have added up all the weights over five matches and the final is on Monday !!
The overall winner in the under 16s age group will win a full set of Preston inovations Hard Case luggage , rod bag,55ltr carry all ,bait bag ,reel case worth over £150 and will get a free 12 month pass to the fishery!! plus
A free days fishing at Rosemary Wood fishery in Southport run by Phil and Pete Dewhust , they will get free bait all day and free tuition from some ENGLAND lads !!! what a prize ah??? the top three weights over all, in both age groups will go to Rosemary wood fishery and get the above.
I will take 3 children ,and John the manager at bradshaw fishery will take the other 3 . Should be a great day out for some very lucky kids.
the over all winner in the under 12s age group will get a FULL CARP SET UP !! rods , carp chair , reels , bite alarms , landing net , pods , rod bag,
berkley carry all and what ever else is in the package i have put together for the winner its a great 2 rod set up with all they will need ,, the only thing i cannot provide is the fish !!! LOL
I will post you all some pictures this week to see the winners ETC , once things have calmed down a bit ...
the winner of the match tomorrow in both age groups will win a MAVER 7M margin pole lackied up and ready to use !!!
and most kids will go home with something !!! Paul Hughs the Sensas rep for the noth west is doing the presentation for me and most of the kids know him and he has fished for england .
